As we know, the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland was always in a hurry because the number of urgent tasks constantly grew. What helped him keep up were his cleverness, creative thinking, and, of course, logic — a subject taught at a university by the author of Alice, Lewis Carroll.
At our math gatherings at “White Rabbit,” we’ll try not just to study specific topics from the school courses or prepare for particular tests, but, above all, to develop mathematical thinking and intuition, make discoveries on our own, search together for strategies to solve interesting problems, and celebrate each other’s successes in a friendly and supportive environment. All of this, in turn, will help to better understand the school curriculum, prepare more effectively for tests, and simply get more done — just like the White Rabbit managed to do.
