«Литературная экскурсия» по Центральному парку с Ольгой Бухиной, переводчицей и специалистом по детской литературе.
Гуляя по Центральному парку, можно много узнать о детской литературе – любимые герои и даже авторы книг пробрались в парк и поселились там в виде прекрасных скульптур. Мы пройдемся по парку, вспомним любимую европейскую классику, посмотрим на те места, где происходили события, описанные в американских детских книгах. Прогулка состоится в субботу 4 октября (экскурсия может быть перенесена на 5 октября, воскресенье, в случае дождя в субботу).
Начало экскурсии – у входа в Центральный парк, на углу 79-й улицы и 5-й авеню
Собираемся в 11.45
Старт группы – 12.00
Гуляем пешком.
В финале прогулки – пьем чай с плюшками в детском книжном магазине «Белый кролик» (200 West 86th Street).
Завершение всей программы – ориентировочно в районе 14.00.
Приглашаем детей старше 7 лет с родителями.
Стоимость участия 30$, билет необходимо приобретать только для ребенка. Братьям-сестрам – скидка, по 10 процентов на каждого.

Central Park and Literature: A Guided Tour by Olga Bukhina, a Translator and Children’s Literature Specialist
When we walk through Central Park, we discover much about children’s literature: some of our favorite characters have found their way into the park as beautiful sculptures. Along the way, we will recall beloved European classics and see places connected to events in American books.
The tour is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4 (rain date: Sunday, Oct. 5).
Meeting point: entrance to the park at 79th Street and 5th Avenue (south side).
Meeting time: 11:45 am; the walk will begin at 12:00 pm.
At the end of the walk, we will visit the White Rabbit Children’s Bookstore for tea and bits to eat.
Approximate duration: 2 hours
Children: ages 7 and up are welcome with their parents
Tickets: $30 per child
Sibling discount: 10%
