Join author-illustrator Susan Novich as she and her puppet, Pinky Porcupine take children on a rhyme-filled reading adventure of colors, counting, and unusual animals, while introducing the numbers one through ten in multiple languages. (English, Spanish, Chinese, and French)
Afterwards, Susan will teach children how to draw Pinky using four simple shapes and four kinds of lines. A coloring page will be provided for each participant along with the materials for kids to make their very own Pinky finger puppet with the help of their accompanying adult.
Susan S. Novich is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of two. She has a certificate in Children’s Book Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and now lives part time on the UWS of New York City.
Participation fee is $20, the book is included in the ticket price! Our space is small but cozy, so we kindly ask you to get tickets in advance.
